Edge Cosmetics was a relatively new business concept by the owner. The initial purpose of the website was to act as a static brochure to which existing clients (and their referals) could be directed.
The look & feel was to be fresh, vibrant with colour and contain photographic examples of the product. A small description of each item would be included to advise clients about the product features and benefits of an all-natural cosmetic compound without any harmful additives.
Client requirements also specified that contact page was to be included to capture enquiries for additional information.
The inclusion of a poll service was used to help increase engagement and participation of website visitors. The information would also assist in understanding the budget expenditure of clients.
All content and images were to be provided by the agency with the client to review wording and accept/change before final signoff approval for publication.
The client also wanted to maintain a small budget on the existing project as this was to be considered stage one of the online presence for the client. An ecommerce web build would be undertaken within 18 months as part of stage two.
All images were formated for further use in product brochures and flyers as required.
